Done Deed

4 years ago, my dad told me that I will be taken advantage of by people around me. He told me that I needed to protect myself and not trust people.

4 years later, I realized that I still haven't changed and I've fallen into the same trap I set for myself 4 years ago. The feeling from my JC days just flow back like they never left me before.

In recent events, I looked back and realized that I trusted people just too easily. Now it's too late to rewind and re-say things and all I can do is pick up the pieces and move on with my life. My past year here in IU lies full of regrets. From now on, I just want to fade off and be happy. No more drama, no more talking.

I've hit the end of the road and I'm not making the same mistake again.
