In the solitude of my room, things that I once thought I had forgotten, surfaces before me. The friendships I lost, the friendships I gained. ACJC....a really questionable period of my life. haha.

Stolen from my girlfriend's blog. So nice spending quality time with her. To my dearest girlfriend, don't forget to call me whenever u need to talk to someone! =) Love ya lots!

Yes! More bowlers are going over to US. hahaha. Finally a change from the common Australian education. Lynette's in SF, Val and Yue Peng in Michigan, Xiangwei GOING to be in New York! I can't wait. It's good to finally have some friends in US. Can go visit them during my breaks! Val!!! you better come and visit me!!!!

Alrighty, 4 more days before I leave. Can't believe it. This time, I have to say I really would miss my parents. I don't know why but it just feels different. I guess it's just a matter of adapting.

My NEW obession: Hawick Lau & Tay Ping Hui in "Destiny". Can't get enough of it.... it saddens me to know that I won't be around to see the whole thing. 2 whole weeks of deprivation. *whine*

Fame from Blogging.

I find it somewhat amusing that people can actually become so famous from writing online diaries of things that don't really matter to the world in general.

It's like the newspapers just run out of news to report that they have to focus on trival things like random people's online diaries. It's not like the words/thoughts of these young people would actually make a difference in the world or in Singapore for that matter.
Yes, it does sound funny calling it online diaries. hee.
Singapore is just too small don't you think? *grin*

But, I think like how ICQ used to be the "in" thing, blogging will be the same.......eventually.

I'm tired. Just got back from Experience 2005.
I must say it was a major improvement from the previous year.

I starting to feel extremely lazy to blog. REALLY lazy. Like looking at my blog is really becoming a chore. I guess maybe it's a phase.

Or not.

Maybe when I go back to Bloomington I'll pick it up again...
I can't wait to move house!!!
10 days till I leave for Bloomington.
Can't believe how short my summer feels.
It's been a rather happening summer I must say.
Time to go back to reality and start studying again.
ICORE's coming up and sadly, no one's taking it with me so now I have to depend on myself to push myself to study!

I've been reading other people's blogs off late and I kinda realized something. Those who have been pretty famous through blogging are suffering from endless bitching and jealousy of others. People can't take it when others' lives seem to be perfect. What they don't realize is that people are not dumb as to write about their sad, painful and shameless experiences on the internet for everyone to read. Whatever you read is what the writer wants you to believe. Everyone needs the thing called privacy. It's just to what extent. Some people need more, some people need less. But the fact is, it's hard to imagine someone airing their dirty (and totally "unwashable") laundry for the next random person to read. Till the day I read in someone's blog that they are having an affair or have some extremely shameless details of their lives, then maybe....maybe I am wrong about the intelligence of human beings.

Today was a rather eventful day!
Met up with Lynn to catch up on things and to start planning for SSA stuff.
Had 30 meatballs between me, my brother and her.
Hahaha....After that I kinda felt like a meatball myself. *bleah*

Met the girlz at our favorite place....SAKAE! Unfortunately for the first time, we didn't take a photo there. We walked around and finally decided to head down to Celly Belly's place!
Watched Friends.... I reckon....no matter how many times I watch Friends, I still laugh uncontrollably whenever I do.

We are finally reunited again since Christmas. =) Yesterday night we chilled at Coffee Club and just caught up with each other. It was GREAT seeing Celly Belly again!!!!! Really missed her. We spent the whole night talking and laughing. *sigh* love ya babes!

I'm going back to US on the 1st of Aug.
Realized how near that date is.
I think this is the first time in the past 1 and 1/2 years I'm actually feeling a tinge of sadness going back.
I had quite a time in Singapore/Hong Kong this summer.
I guess I will have quite a time in US too...but I am really not looking fwd to doing ICORE or studying for that matter.
