Here's the issue:German guy from Asian American Association wanted to join Mr and Ms Asia.
He studies about the Asian Culture and knows how to speak chinese.
Should he be allowed to join Mr and Ms Asia?
This question has been playing on my mind.
Even though it was voted that he should not be allowed to join, some part of me kinda feels that this only shows the lack of openness of the asians.
Should it be the association's choice on who they want to represent their association? Or is it the asian society who decides?
Though I was sort of against it at first, now when I think about it, I kinda feel that it's not our problem if they wanted to send a german. It will be to their embarrassment if he were to not be able to answer Asian cultural questions.
Why didn't we give him a chance?
It's during these times, I wish I was back in Singapore. Truly appreciate the multicultural background we were brought up in.
*sigh* it's going to be chinese new year next week in Singapore.
What will I be doing?
Studying...
I miss seeing my relatives.... collecting angbaos....eating as if there's no tomorrow...
2 years more and chinese new year will be back in my life!

Yesterday I went indoor go-karting with my friends! Was pretty fun.
Till I crashed into the wall.
The impact was bad...
This morning I could hardly turn my head.
Today we had a bowling competition.
Was pretty fun.
Except the fact that the guys at the bowling alley didn't know how to do lane maintenance.
I'm so glad I spread the bowling spirit to all my friends here.
hee.

Just thinking about my trip back in winter, made me realize something. It is either that I have changed alot...or my friends have.
I know change is inevitable.
But still. I sometimes wish that as I change, I would change along with people.
I guess that's just part and parcel of growing up...=)

Ugh. Been rather frustrated with the latest happenings. Now I just hope I make the right decisions.
Feeling rather sick now.
Think it's the weather.
Getting colder and colder.
Such a dark and gloomy day.

So sleepy and tired right now.We had a sushi party yesterday!
Was pretty fun.
Talked alot. Bitched alot.
I swear that's the Singaporean's favorite past-time.
Once the bitching stops, everyone's bored.
hahaha. It's hilarious.
It's a nice long weekend!!!
So glad.
I got lots of work to do.
Hopefully I will make good use of my time.
hopefully.
First week of school went all toooooo slow.
The days just crawled by.
Probably cos I have alot more classes this semester.
Good thing is I have exercised good sleeping habits and now I sleep early and wake up early!
It's alot better.
Now I eat breakfast!
Gosh I'm such a random person....

Finally got some time off to blog!Coming back was bad.
The 29 hours journey was literally a "pain in the ass".
I wish I could take a shorter route.
Now I'm really dreading the trip back to Singapore.
The past two days were alright.
Yesterday was the first day of school.
I had ONE class.
Didn't do much.
At night, Lynn and I cooked up a feast for dinner.
Chicken rice went pretty well I must say.
Today, I had 3 classes so far.
Waiting for my 4th one.
My timetable is seriously screwed up.
On Thursday I have class from 9.30am to 7pm!!!!
The thought of going for so many classes is not very exciting.
Pretty disappointed with my sports management class.
Not what I was expecting it to be.
Just another X220 career perspective class.
Ugh.
AKA waste of time.
Still jetlagging....
ZzZZzzz...
Tired as hell.
Shout outs::
Celly belly: yeah. don't worry. your holiday will soon be over. hee. funny how we dislike holidays now huh. =)
Marcus: heyhey. will miss u too. and nice beancurd. haha. Hopefully I will be back in July. If not maybe in Dec. Haven't really decided what I should be doing.

Tired of packing.Even the thought of packing makes me feel tired.
Yes. Boo has put on about 2kg and became about 10 times lazier.
I feel like a pig.
I'm so excited to go back B-town and start a new semester!
I really miss living on my own....
It's like a drug.
It's addictive.
On top of that, I love the fact that every semester is completely different from the previous one.
Jane left.
Lynn left.
It's my turn!!!

Roro told me good news!Boo's a happy girl.
Leaving for Indy tomorrow.
This holiday has been a fast one.
Though I didn't get to meet everyone, I met a lot of people for just a 3 weeks break.
Which was good.
At least I got to spend some time with my best friend. =)
Kinda scared about my domestic flights.
This is my first trip up to America on my own.
Hopefully I don't get lost.
Will miss all of you!!! *hugz*

6 more days before I see Roland.5 more days before I leave for B-town.
4 more days before I get my reply.
3 days of extremely stressful waiting.
I'm scared shit.
And all I can do is pray hard they'd be lenient towards me.
*sigh*

Happy New Year!!!Goshhh...it's 2005.
Now I have to get used to writing a 05 instead of 04.
Every year I make the same mistake.
Well, here's wishing everyone a better year ahead and hope the hang over from last night wasn't too BAD!
